‘Hollow Points Make A White Devil Body Spin’
Yelling Allahu Akbar, Kori Ali Muhammad killed three men in Fresno, California, on Tuesday. As Fox News reported, Muhammad fired 16 rounds in one minute at four locations within a single block. One victim was seated in a Pacific Gas and Electric utility truck, another on a sidewalk, and the third in the parking lot of a Catholic charity. The victims were all white males aged 34, 37, and 58.
According to news reports, Muhammad used a .357 magnum revolver in the attack, which Fresno police are calling a hate crime. Fresno police chief Jerry Dyer said These individuals who were chosen today did not do anything to deserve what they got, and that the shooter, was intent on carrying out homicides today. He did that.
Muhammad, 39, shot and missed a fourth man before surrendering to police and once on the ground again called out Allahu Akbar. Police had sought Muhammad for the killing of security guard Carl Williams, 25, at a Fresno motel last Thursday. Police believe Muhammad acted alone, and the FBI has not called the killings an act of terrorism.
As the Fresno Bee reported the African American who called himself Kori Muhammad was active online and posted racially charged threats aimed at President Donald Trump. In one of his online music videos, Muhammad talks about shooting white devils and hails an Asiatic black God. In one video, Muhammad demands justice for the murders of my black kin, adding, Hollow points make a white devil body spin.
Muhammad, previously known as Kori Taylor and Kori McWallace, moved from Fresno to Sacramento after junior high school. According to the Sacramento Bee, he was indicted on drug and firearms charges and in 2006 was sentenced to more than nine years in prison. Muhammad was known for criminal threats and also faced charges of forgery, false imprisonment and drunk driving. The Bee also cited public records from showing that in the state of Washington Muhammad faced drug and firearms charges, along with reckless endangerment and obstructing an officer.
Muhammad s three male victims on Tuesday were all white and his hatred of whites prompted speculation that he was a member of the Nation of Islam. The group, headed by Louis Farrakhan, believes that whites were the result of an experiment by a mad scientist named Yacub on the Isle of Patmos 6,000 years ago.
The Los Angeles Times reported that in one online posting Muhammad referenced white devils and wrote that my kill rate increases tremendously on the other side, adding Allah u akbar. In a song, Muhammad hails, Black father, the maker, the owner, the cream of the planet Earth. Asiatic black man, God of the universe. We didn t start as slaves. They really don t want us and our ancient ways.
Imam Seyed Ali Ghazvini of the Islamic Cultural Center of Fresno told reporters, We denounce and reject in the strongest words possible this kind of violence and attack. Imam Ghazvini said Kori Muhammad was not known in their community, and that he supported police efforts against extremism in our area.
The triple homicide in Fresno was the worst killing spree by a Muslim in California since Syed Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik gunned down 14 innocents in San Bernardino in December, 2015. Farook was born in the United States and Malik an immigrant from Pakistan.
As of late Tuesday, California governor Jerry Brown made no statement on the Fresno attack, and neither did state attorney general Xavier Becerra. Both are supporters of sanctuary cities that harbor violent criminals such as Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, who gunned down Kate Steinle on a San Francisco pier in July of 2015.
During the 1970s, governor Jerry Brown declined to extradite violent AIM radical Dennis Banks, who fled to California after a courthouse gun battle in South Dakota.
